History
The car was built by Pullman in October 1929. It was part of the equipment used on the Exposition Flier train.
Western Pacific 302
Description
Western Pacific 302 is a Harriman style 78-foot steel coach. The car is equipped with four-wheel Commonwealth trucks with 36-inch wheels. It is part of series 301 to 320.
- Owners: Western Pacific 302
- Current Condition: This car had a fire on the interior just prior to the being acquired by the Museum. It needs work, but the exterior could be made presentable without a lot of effort.
- Proposed Future Treatment: In the near future this car should get window sash, steps and exterior paint. The restoration of the interior is a future project.
